About the art:
This print titled Hanami Picnic, is inspired by picnics under cherry blossom trees. Hanami is the Japanese practice of flower viewing, and a practice that Melissa greatly enjoyed during her four years living in Japan. During cherry blossom season, the parks in Tokyo are full of Hanami-goers relaxing on blue tarps enjoying the blooms up above.
